Who doesn’t love a night shift? Currently waiting on platform 9 at Wimbledon for 6G13. Tonight’s duty is to work the train to Clapham Junction via Tooting, Stretham, Tulse Hill, Herne, Hill & Brixton. I’ve got to stop on a signal just outside Clapham junction where an engineering possession will be taken around my train. Once on site my duties will included shunting and moving the train as required by the Engineering Supervisor, before being relived by another driver at 06:30.
I’ve got a bit of a wait here at Wimbledon so I’m taking the opportunity to spot some 455s. With southerns going in May I’m sure the SWR ones won’t be far behind.
