My duties continue to be primarily SITT standby with little to report. Today is slightly different though. As a freight train driver our duties take us into private yards and sidings. This means that sometimes we are required to sit site inductions and safety briefs in order to work on our customers sites. So today I’ve had a visit to a new customers site to complete the induction and safety brief prior to being allowed on site to work. I’d love to tell you where exactly I’ve been but this is one of those social media policy moments. Contracts can be volatile and as we’ve been told loose lips sink ships – maybe there is a clue in that statement?
