Haven’t done one of these for a very long time (mainly due to being stuck on the same jobs).
Yesterday (Wednesday May 11th), I was the lead driver for a very special filming day at the East Kent. I’m not allowed to say anything much on it, but it involved a lot of fast acceleration out of platforms and at certain points along the line.
For this task, we decided to use 2 of our 08 locos (working in Tandem).
I managed to get one of the staff to film one of our test departures, so here is some double 08 thrash for your evening pleasure!
