After having a couple of well earned days off work it’s back to the grind stone today. I’m 0800 standby 3W91 on the Sussex RHTT again today. However I’ve just had notification that the train is required and I’ve got a lovely little pathway taking me all around the world today.

That’s the thing with being standby duty. Some days you are not required and get home a little bit early and others you are busy all day long.
Today also sees the return of face coverings on public transport, something I thought we had seen the last off. – now who wants Dad Rail face masks?
