Yesterday, quite a few of us met up in London. We had the first ever Dad Rail Railway-Staff Meetup, and I can only speak for myself but we had such a great day. Sure, we didn’t do half of the things I had planned and we spent most of the day sitting in a Wetherspoons enjoying drinks together… but we enjoyed each other’s companies, and I think everyone had a great day.
Now… time to start planning a few other events. Railway Staff Christmas Social, perhaps even a… wider community meetup? We shall see how things go. And how much rope Richard gives me.
