This proved to be an interesting month, for reasons I shan’t go too much into detail with.
- I had two weeks off on leave, and as such haven’t done much driving.
- Me and my driving instructor (DI) had a near miss incident with some track workers. Nearly had to apply the emergency brakes and push the dreaded red button, but we didn’t. Thankfully.
- I have actually done some driving, and started route learning and everything. I’m not very good at smooth stops, but we are seeing definite improvements already. My DI is very happy with progress so far, and hasn’t seen any reason why I won’t make an excellent driver. In due course.
Current driving hours (estimate, due to paperwork not being fully filed): around 15/20 hrs total.
